Release Notes

  • New Copy Protection. Now using Softron License Manager. WARNING: Internet connection is required. More info...
  • New System Requirements. macOS 12 or later is required
  • Video Playback: Added support for H.264. It was required for some video streaming services. See remaining known issue below.
  • HTTPS: Added the ability to use self signed certificates for HTTPS when using localhost addresses.
  • Audio Output: Added support for audio output. A much requested feature to be able to view... and hear videos
  • UI: Issue with some drop down menus that would not be rendered
  • macOS: Output settings UI issue in macOS 12 and earlier
  • NDI: Issues when using multiple NDI outputs (there was only one created)
  • Blackmagic-Design: Issues with some models when using ARGB output. Playback would not start even if it is possible.

Known issues

  • Potential Crash: May crash when you quit the application. We are investigating, but it will not happen while you are running the application — only when quitting.
  • Video Playback Can stop: We have seen that some videos may stop playing after a few seconds or when seeking. We are investigating, and will come with an update as soon as we have one. Make sure to check our pre-release page.
