• Added support for JPEG2000 with 10-bits inputs
• A recommended preset for XAVC (Note: this is a very CPU intensive codec, so HD support will only work on Mac Pros.)
• When recording in SD NTSC, a “blank” CC track is no longer created.
• The audio monitor icon does not show up on remote sources (you can not monitor audio on remote sources yet)
• Video is now "passed through" the HDMI output for various AJA video devices
• Contact Support menu now sends more logs (file size may increase)
• Contact Support now again sends the system logs of the correct date (3.4.3 did not send the correct dates)

WARNING: When you initially launch this version, a License Agreement window will appear and we will require you to enter your name and email address before proceeding. Make sure to do this before your production starts. We have an article in our knowledge base that explains why we require that.

• VTR Control and Batch capture
• Support for the JPEG-2000 codec. It does not require the pro codecs option (except if you need to record to MXF). Max 4 channels. It is GPU accelerated and thus requires a Mac Pro 2013. D500 or D700 recommended for 4 channels.
• Support for XAVC. Note that this is a very CPU intensive codec and it won't support 4K yet. You can record in HD only on a Mac Pro.
• Ability to "Lock" a source to prevent accidental record & stop record. When starting a scheduled recording and VTR batch capture, it automatically "locks" the source.
• Ability to configure the audio channels that are monitored for each "Viewer".
• Metadata sidecar files can now be created at the start or at the end of the recording.
• When a source uses "Video Card Timecode", it is now available as an "Application Timecode Source" in preferences. This allows sharing TC from one source to the other sources.
• H.264 destinations can now use the .mp4 extension instead of the .mov extension.
• Custom naming in MXF DNxHD destinations.
• TC issues with AJA drivers 10.3.8.

Important Note: This update now requires AJA drivers 10.3.7 or later.

• End animations are now played even on items that are set to "Stay Forever"
• Project will only be updated when modification date changes
• When a Ticker folder is not set to "Stay Forever", but the project is Looped in CG Server, the ticker will start again from the beginning

Release notes for OnTheAir Video only

• Create "Live inputs" (this will either be a real video card input or a direct link from OnTheAir Video or OnTheAir Node) and use those Live inputs as a video clip in your playlist. This greatly simplifies the workflow when you want to handle Live inputs.
• "Automatically use images as logos" preference. When enabled, if you have in the same folder a png image and a movie file that bear the same name, we will use the png image automatically for the logo of that movie. These png images are then not added to the playlist when doing a drag and drop.
• Optimizations of the "Smart Resize and Graphics" engine for better performances on smaller computers

• Add metadata to your files. Either embedded in the QuickTime file, or as a sidecar file (Axle, CatDV, or Cantemo).
• Record to MXF DNxHD.
• "Size to fit" option when selecting the number of Viewers. When enabled, it behaves as before. When disabled, you can now use the lower right corner of the first viewer to manually set the size that you want it to have. Viewers are thus not automatically resized with the window.
• Display more viewers at once on a smaller screen (up to 25).
• When there are issues with remote recorders, the warnings and logs are now displayed.
• Behaviour when AVC-Intra encoder was too slow.
